Kerry Hallam Painting Graces Nantucket Wine Festival Poster
Greenwich, CT Impressionist artist Kerry Hallam has lent his artistic talents again to the internationally-renowned Nantucket Wine Festival. Hallam, a Nantucket resident, has created the imagery that has appeared on the official posters, invitations, and other promotional materials for the past several years, always creating a new painting with a wine theme. This years imagery, characterized by Hallams spontaneous brush strokes and lively flourishes, combines the wine theme with the festivals nautical location. For the first time this image is painted on a nautical chart of Nantucket Island.
The festival, taking place on May 13 18 and now in its seventh year, has attracted bigger crowds and more participants every year. This years festival includes wine tasting, as well as cooking demonstrations, wine and food seminars, a charity gala showcasing the talents of celebrity chefs, a house tour/wine tasting event, an auction of fine, rare wines and other food and wine related events. The festival has grown over the years to become a much-anticipated event that attracts attendees from all over the world.
Hallam, a wine enthusiast himself, has participated in this event since its inception. His art has graced the promotional materials and has been sold or auctioned as part of the charity fundraising event for years.
Chalk & Vermilion Fine Arts, one of Americas foremost publishers of contemporary fine art prints and sculpture, represents a number of todays most popular artists from around the world, such as Fanny Brennan, Erté, Kerry Hallam, Liudmila Kondakova, Thomas McKnight, and Bruce Ricker.
